Lemon and citrus are well known natural cleansers. The origins of Bergamot are described by many experts as a mystery. While Bergamot is in the citrus family, its fruit is primarily used as a source for essential oil, not as a food. Bergamot is sourced from the Mediterranean, with the essential oil being produced from the peel. In studies the scent of Bergamot has been shown to reduce cortisol which in turn reduces stress and anxiety. The light citrus aroma is mood lifting. A happy chef is a great chef! Bergamot’s powerful antimicrobial properties target foodborne pathogens such as E. coli and bacteria. The soap contains a unique moisturizing blend of shea, cocoa/mango butters and jojoba oil.
The hand cream is a pure delight for cleaning and refreshing cooking hands. It contains sunflower seed oil, apricot kernel oil, and wheat germ oil to moisturize and soften your hands.
Used in combination with the citrus soap is a hand scrub brush to help clean out dirt, bacteria and remove cooking smells on your hands.
Directions: Wash your hands with the soap, ensuring to create a nice lather. With the brush, scrub your fingertips back and forth to loosen debris under your nails, then scrub your hands, fingers and palms. Rinse off and then apply the hand cream. I like to apply the cream at bedtime as well.
